Your bills, against every plan on the market
One upload. Every published plan. No commissions.
Upload a bill. Compound reads it, then prices the same setup against every plan on the market and shows the difference in dollars a year.
How it works
- Electricity and gas — Priced on your own usage, days and meter setup, against the plans every retailer publishes under the Consumer Data Right.
- Health insurance — The same hospital cover, state and people covered, with an excess no higher, against every fund’s published products.
- NBN and mobile — The same speed tier, or at least the same data, ranked on the ongoing monthly price. Intro offers are shown, not assumed.
- Your home loan — Your rate against lenders’ published rates for the same kind of loan and LVR band, and what the gap costs you a year.
- Like for like, or nothing — A plan that cannot be priced on your setup is left out, with the reason. Every comparison shows its source and the date the prices are from.
- Named, never sold — Providers are named. There are no links, referrals, commissions or paid placements, so nothing is ranked for a fee.
Common questions
Which bills can Compound compare?
Electricity, gas, private health insurance, NBN and mobile, plus your home loan rate. Home and contents, landlord, car, pet and travel insurance are coming: those prices are individual quotes, with no public price data to compare against yet.
Where do the prices come from?
Public data. Energy plans and home loan rates come from what retailers and lenders publish under the Consumer Data Right, health insurance from PrivateHealth.gov.au, and NBN and mobile plans from the providers’ own published plans.
Does Compound earn a commission if I switch?
No. Providers are named, not linked, and Compound takes no commission, referral fee or paid placement. It shows prices; whether to switch is your call. General information only, not advice.
Do you keep my bill?
No. The file is read once and deleted. Only the figures, postcode and state are kept, never your name, address, account or policy numbers. And an uploaded bill never changes your budget: one bill is rarely a whole budget line.

Compound allows me track bank accounts, shares and property all in the one app. I can view the year I become financially independent but also use their calculators and budgeting tools to run scenarios and watch how that freedom year is impacted. One of my favourite features is that my wifes account and my account can be linked so our financial goals are visualised and aligned.
I’ve been using Compound for a while now and it’s helped me consolidate everything into a single portal. It’s easy to use, gives me all the important info at a glance and helped us make more informed financial decisions
What a fantastic and innovative app this is. It has helped me combine all my finances in one place rather than having to check 5-10 individual apps. Keep the new features coming Compound!
Could not recommend this app enough! It has allowed me to sit down and really look at my finances. I now have a clear goal and know exactly what to do to get there. Well done to the team at Compound for creating such an innovative product.
