Can I track an SMSF portfolio holding by holding?
Yes. A self-managed super fund can be tracked position by position with live prices, shown on its own or combined with the rest of your wealth.
Does it record what I paid?
Yes. Each holding carries a cost base, recorded per unit or as a total, which drives both your gain since purchase and the capital gains lines in the tax pack.
