How it works
- Capital gains — What you sold, what it cost, what the gain was — with the holding period that matters.
- Rental income and costs — Rent received and every claimable holding cost, property by property.
- Dividends, interest and fees — Investment income received and the fees you paid to earn it.
- Split by entity — Individual, SMSF and each trust handled separately — because that is how they are lodged.
- Import a CSV — Drop in a bank statement and Compound sorts each transaction onto the right line, or type figures in by hand.
- Tick off and hand over — Work through one entity at a time, then save or print the whole pack as a PDF.
Common questions
Does Compound do my tax return?
No. Compound organises your own figures into a clear summary — capital gains, rental income and costs, investment income and fees, split by entity — for you or your accountant to work from. It is record keeping, not tax advice, and Compound is not a registered tax agent.
Can I import my bank statements?
Yes. Import a bank statement as a CSV and Compound categorises each transaction onto the right line, which you can correct. You can also enter figures manually.
Does it handle a trust or an SMSF?
Yes. Assets are held under the entity that owns them, and the report is produced per entity — individual, company, family trust and self-managed super fund each get their own pack.
