Automatic tracking for shares, ETFs and crypto
Your trades and your coins, without the typing.
Two feeds keep the portfolio current on their own — without a separate subscription, and without handing anyone a login that can move money.
How it works
- Contract notes by email — Forward your broker’s confirmation to your own private Compound address. The trade is read out of the PDF and waits in the Portfolio inbox.
- One tap to record — Nothing reaches your portfolio until you confirm it, and what lands is recorded exactly as a hand-typed trade — same cost base, same gain, same tax lines.
- Set the rule once — One mail rule per broker and every future note arrives by itself. Step-by-step instructions for Gmail, Outlook and Apple Mail are in the app, including the code Gmail insists on.
- Works with the brokers Australians use — CommSec, SelfWealth, Stake, Pearler, CMC Markets, NABtrade, Superhero, Westpac Share Trading, Bell Direct and Interactive Brokers.
- Crypto exchanges, read-only — CoinSpot, Swyftx, Independent Reserve, Binance, Kraken and Coinbase, through a read-only API key that cannot withdraw. Keys are encrypted at rest.
- Or just an address — Paste a public Bitcoin, Ethereum or Solana wallet address — no keys involved at all.
- Refreshed every night — Balances come back nightly and each coin sits in your Portfolio at the live price, beside everything else you own.
Common questions
Do I have to connect anything?
No. Compound is manual-first and always works that way — automatic tracking is there to save you the typing, not to become a requirement. You can connect one broker, one exchange, all of them, or none.
Is it safe to give Compound an exchange key?
The connection accepts read-only keys: they can see balances and cannot withdraw, trade or move anything. Keys are encrypted at rest, and for Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana you can skip keys entirely and paste a public wallet address instead.
What happens to a trade Compound reads wrongly?
You see it before it counts. Every contract note lands in a review inbox in the Portfolio showing what was read, and nothing is added to your holdings until you confirm it. You can correct or discard it there.
Does this connect to my bank?
No. Compound never asks for banking credentials. This is a forwarded email and a read-only market connection — neither one can move money.

What a fantastic and innovative app this is. It has helped me combine all my finances in one place rather than having to check 5-10 individual apps. Keep the new features coming Compound!
Could not recommend this app enough! It has allowed me to sit down and really look at my finances. I now have a clear goal and know exactly what to do to get there. Well done to the team at Compound for creating such an innovative product.
Such a great app - combines all my assets in one place and models when I can stop work. It is so accurate, customer service is great, app is slick and works well. Data secure and never had an issue. Highly recommend
