How it works
- Every asset class — Property, superannuation, shares and ETFs, cash, crypto and a business — plus the mortgages and debts against them.
- Live prices — Listed shares and ETFs update from live market data. Property values move with the market rather than with the last time you opened a spreadsheet.
- Change today, change overall — What moved since yesterday, and what every holding has done since you bought it — value against cost.
- Monthly history — A record of where your net worth has been, so progress stops being a feeling and becomes a line.
- Usable equity, surfaced — Property at 80% LVR less what you owe: the number that decides whether the next move is possible.
Common questions
What can I track in Compound?
Property, superannuation, shares and ETFs with live prices, cash, crypto and a business, along with the mortgages and other debts held against them. Assets can sit under personal, joint, family trust, company or SMSF entities.
Does Compound connect to my bank?
Not today. Compound is manual-first: you add what you own and it keeps market prices live for you, or you import a bank statement CSV. You never share bank logins with Compound. Bank connection through Australia’s regulated Consumer Data Right is coming.
How often do values update?
Listed shares, ETFs and crypto follow live market data. Property is estimated and grows with the market between your own updates, and you can set a value yourself whenever you have a better one.
