Compound vs Revlo
The short answer: Revlo is a simple Australian web asset tracker: cash, shares, crypto, property, super and more against your loans, with a free plan for up to 15 items and broker and exchange sync on its paid plan. Compound is a paid tracker for the whole picture, property with its loans and usable equity, super, shares, cash, crypto and a business, across trusts, companies and SMSFs, and it projects the year your investments could fund your life. Pick Revlo if you want a free, light net worth chart; pick Compound if property, structures or the "when could I stop working?" question are part of your picture.
We make Compound, so read this knowing that. Every fact about Revlo below is from its own public pages as at the date above (sources at the bottom), and anything we could not confirm is left out rather than guessed. If something has changed, tell us and we will fix it.

Where Revlo is the better choice
- It has a free plan: up to 15 assets and liabilities, with no card and no expiry. Compound does not.
- Broker and exchange sync on its paid plan (CommSec, Stake, Interactive Brokers, Coinbase, Binance, Kraken). Compound is manual-first, with statement and contract-note import.
- Price alerts on shares and coins, an AI daily brief, and extra asset types such as vehicles and commodities.
Where Compound is the better choice
- Property depth: loans, offsets, usable equity, rental cash flow and development feasibility, not just a value and a mortgage.
- Structures: personal, joint, family trust, company and SMSF, each on its own or combined. Revlo does not mention entities.
- The projection: Compound projects the year your investments could fund your life, with Australian tax, capital gains and super locked until 60 in the maths. Revlo tracks goals but does not mention a retirement projection.
- Tax time: an EOFY pack per entity for your accountant.
- A business as an asset, a budget tied to your surplus, and native iOS and Android apps as well as the web.
Which should you pick?
If you want a free, simple chart of what you own minus what you owe, with broker sync when you upgrade, Revlo does that job.
If you hold investment property, super, an SMSF, a trust or a company, or you want the "when could I stop working?" projection modelled for Australia, Compound is built for that. You get 7 days free, cancel anytime, to see your own numbers in it first.
Common questions
Is Revlo free?
Yes, for up to 15 assets and liabilities. Its Pro plan is $15 a month billed yearly, with a two-week free trial. Compound has no free plan: it is A$149 a year or A$14.99 a month, and every new account starts with 7 days free, cancel anytime.
Does Revlo connect to my bank?
Not yet. Its site lists live bank sync and the big-four bank feeds as "coming soon", with broker and exchange sync available now on Pro. Compound never asks for bank logins: you add what you own, listed holdings update from live prices, and you can import bank statements and contract notes.
Does Revlo track trusts or an SMSF?
Its site does not mention entities. Compound tracks personal, joint, family trust, company and SMSF holdings separately and combined, which matters if you hold property or shares in a structure.
Can I use Revlo and Compound together?
You can, but there is little reason to: both track the same balance sheet. If you want a free chart, use Revlo; if you want the whole picture with structures and the projection, use Compound.
