What is Compound?

Compound is a net worth tracker, wealth tracker and budget app built in Australia. It brings property, superannuation, shares and ETFs, cash, crypto and business together in one live view, tracks your budget and monthly surplus, and projects the year your investments could fund your life: your financial independence year, modelled properly for tax and for super staying locked until 60. Every subscription carries a 30-day money-back guarantee, and Compound runs on iPhone, Android and the web.

Common questions

What does Compound cost?

Compound Pro is $149/year or $14.99/month. Everyone who joins before 31 December 2026 gets early access pricing: $99 a year or $9.99 a month, locked in for as long as you stay. Pro covers live market prices, budgeting, property analysis and your financial-independence year. For context, ongoing financial advice costs the typical Australian $4,668 a year (median ongoing fee, Adviser Ratings 2025). Compound is a tool, not advice.

Is Compound AI-based?

The projections are not AI. Compound uses a deterministic model: your income, spending, super and property, compounded year by year using published long-run rates, with every assumption visible in the app and yours to change. There is an optional AI assistant for asking questions about your own numbers, but it never does the maths. We use AI tools to help build Compound, like most software teams; the model your money runs on is arithmetic, not a language model.

Does Compound connect to my bank?

Bank connection through Australia's regulated Consumer Data Right (open banking) is coming. Today Compound is manual-first: add what you own and it keeps market prices live for you, or import a bank statement CSV. You never share bank logins with Compound.

What can I track with Compound?

Property, superannuation, shares and ETFs with live prices, cash, crypto and a business, plus the mortgages and debts against them. Works across personal, joint, family trust, company and SMSF entities, for yourself or as a couple.

What devices does Compound work on?

Compound runs on iPhone and iPad, Android phones and tablets, and any modern web browser, with your data in sync across all of them. Get it from the App Store or Google Play, or use it on the web.
